Today is Friday.
Chiaroscuro looked for light because he thought it was the meaning of life. When he told another old one-eared rat his thought, the rat, Bottecelli, laughed at him. He thought suffering was the meaning of life, specifically the suffering of others. Reducing a prisoner to weeping, wailing and begging was a delightful way to invest the rat's existence with meaning. That was Bottecelli's thought. He swung a locket, told this theory to Chiaroscuro and made his theory believable. He thought the best thing to a rat was making a prisoner trust him and becoming his friend , then telling the prisoner everything he had done was to cheat the prisoner. This would made the prisoner become hopeless from hopeful. This was the funniest thing to do to a rat. Chiaroscuro believed him and repeated every sentences spoke by Botticelli, just like having been brainwashed. Botticelli also told him a new prisoner would be sent to him soon. He could torture the prisoner as Botticelli had told him. Chiaroscuro looked forward to the opportunity and totally forgot the light thing.
