Today is Gong gong's birthday. I sent Happy Birthday to her as soon as I got up at 5:40. To my surprise, she replied at once. Of course, she could not get up as early as me, the truth is, she still hadn't gone to bed at that time. She said there was an urgent project so she had no choice. Being an creative artist is a hard job.
I tried to work out with the verification of transcript and certificate on CHSICC. It took me a whole day. Still, I haven't finished. Because I need to apply for my transcript at FD again. The transcript uploaded both in Chinese and English should be available within 3 months. I have no Chinese transcript and the English version has expired. The verification period will be at least 30 days. Though time is enough, I still regret that I should have studied the details of requirements earlier.
Xia Tianyi told me she was too busy to help this week, though she sent me my English transcript in sealed envelope just 2 days after I requested in May. I asked Mao if he would be free to fetch the transcript for me, he said the campus was open to students and faculty only after pandemic. So no one else could help, I have to rely on Xia again. As I've made it clear how to deal with the verification process on CHSICC. All I have to do now is to wait. First, wait for my transcript from FD, submit it to CHSICC, and wait again until they complete the verification, then directly sent it to Columbia J- School by email.
This afternoon will be my last Japanese class with Mai Mai and my lovely classmates. I feel genuinely sorry that I have to leave. Yet, I must concentrate on my application. I think it's possible for me to manage work, kid, application and Japanese all together at the same time but the cost will be great. I've said that health was priority to me. So it's time to say goodbye.
