在我称赞她们聪慧或勇敢之前，道一声歉
我很惭愧这句话听上去好比
如此纯粹又简单的与生俱来，
值得你全部的骄傲
当你的才华曾击破高山峻岭
从现在开始我会说例如
你很有毅力或你真了不起
不是因为我不认为你貌美
而是你必须知道
你远胜于仅仅”
如今的社会常常把外表放在至关重要的地位。这样的社会不断给女性施压，以至于女性之间也相互诋毁，贬低…… 结交朋友多数时候始于颜值，终于人品。我们把颜值放在人品之前，是多么可怕的一件事。然而，大多数人已欣然接受或同流合污。腹有诗书气自华，我相信一个人的外壳永远无法和内在的气质、素养相媲美。
“i want to apologize to all the women I have called beautiful
before i’ve called them intelligent or brave
I am sorry I made it sound as though
something as simple as what you’re born with
is all you have to be proud of
when you have broken mountains with your wit
from now on I will say things like
you are resilient, or you are extraordinary
not because I don’t think you’re beautiful
but because I need you to know
