We use scrum for the increment of project delivery, there are several meetings which are crucial important to scrum, like Retro, Demo, Daily etc. But in today’s topic we focus on meetings throughout development process, which are group discussion, planing and estimation.

First of all, the group discussion. Before the meeting we get our assigned ACs finished and discuss it at the meeting. Over the meeting, we discuss the ACs one by one and update it to get ready for the development. AC is the element of user story, and user story is split from user requirements. As to how to write a AC, is not just to turn story into words, you need consider the feasibility of user story, from the aspect of product feasibility and technology implementation.

Secondly, the estimation. At the meeting, we define the scope of the coming version, we first value each story and give it a story points, then choose stories to include in the version and estimate the release date. The principle of choosing stories into the coming version depends on priority of the user story and the volume  of capacity of the team.

Finally, it’s the planing. At the beginning of the sprint, we pick our tasks from the backlog and assign it between teammates to do in this sprint.

There are the main meetings throughout the development, we should clear what we do at the meeting and only in this way, we could do better.
