后注：诗中“杜尔茜”，指的是罗勒香草，又称“九层塔”，因其花呈多层分布而得名。
这其貌不扬的绿色植物可是印度人日常生活中离不了的神草，“杜尔茜”在印地语中的就是“无与伦比”之意。
在印度教徒的家里，都会种植罗勒。印度人甚至认为没有罗勒的家庭是不完整的。人们相信“圣”罗勒具有神奇的力量，能够辟邪，在自家周围摆放“圣”罗勒可以让妖魔鬼怪离自己远远的。
