B: I’m sorry but, to be honest, you are a terrible employee!

B: Anthony, you were caught making international calls from the office phone, you called in sick eight times this month and you smell like alcohol!

5、 ＜let sb go＞ 解雇某人 = ＜dismiss sb＞ =＜ fire sb ＞ 都表示解雇某人，前者语气更委婉

6、resent （因受委屈而）对---感到愤恨不满；怨恨，愤恨
I resent that! 你怎么能这么说，我表示不满和愤恨！不同意
I resent having to work such long hours.
工作时间这么长，我对此心怀不满。
Paul resent the fact that he’s not being appreciated at work.
保罗对工作上得不到赏识愤恨不已。
6、 be caught doing sth 被发现、抓到做某事
He was caught cheating in the exam. 他被抓到考试作弊。
You were caught making international calls on the office phone.
你被发现用公司电话打国际长途。
7、 call in sick 打电话请病假
I don’t feel well. I guess i need to call in sick.
我身体不舒服，我想我得打电话请个病假。
I will call in sick for you. Just stay in bed and have a good rest today. 我会帮你打电话请病假。你今天好好休息下吧。
