It has been 10th day here in New Zealand while 6th day in Hastings.
After the induction of Mr Apple,I luckly got an on call packhouse job at Havelock North Packhouse.While we were sleeping,We were woke up by the noise mobile phone ringtone."What a fuck!"I just thought I had no alarm clock at clock and I was so sleepy.At 6:49 in the morning,I got a phone call from Michelle,manager of Havelock North,who told me that I can work this morning at 7:30.Because I just woke up,my brain wasn't fully working and I just needed to sort out my brain.So at the moment,I couldn't catch what she meaned and I had no words to reply.After several words repeat it,I got her meaning and told her I can work at 7:30a.m. in the end.
There was a funny things happened.It happened that Leon,the tall and handsome German lost his cell phone to the toilet the day before yesterday and it only have a vibration instead of ringtone.Before Michelle gave a phone call to me,she has phoned Leon,but he was sleeping without any sound of his cell phone."HAHAHA,I am lucky guy"I thought.
After brushing my teeth and eating two pieces bread,my really nice roommate Mah,coming from Malaysia drove me to Mr Apple.Always I thought man had no foot without a car in New Zealand.So it is so importtant to have a car or have a nice roommate with a car.After 15 minutes,I arrived at packhouse in Havelock North.At the parking lot,I had no idea where the office is and how I could find Michelle.Then I saw a woman cleaning the garden near the parking lot.I walked closer and asked her where the office is.Because there is a fence between us,she didn't see me walking,what I said and my voice shocked her.I felt so sorry about that.And I swore that I was not deliberate(on purpose).
After her instruction,I came in the office and then got touch with Michelle.She gave me a L T-shirt and got my fingerprint in the michine and introduced something about the packing house.After a while,I began to work.What I have to do is to put 4 or 5 trays apple into the box and cover it using another box ,then labeling it.While first time doing (operating)this,It is not easy and I just need to practice.Everyone needs to concentrate on 3 to 4 lines,so it's quite busy.If you didn't follow the speed of machine,you would lost apples.While packing the box,there were four to five people greeting to me.They are so nice,expecially a maori man,named Tamai,coming from Rotorua.Honestly speaking,I need much time to remember every name and match the name and the face.So it's really difficult to remember the name and people while I was working at my first day.I just remembered the names called Jacob,Tony,a old white man,Tu.But I can't match the name and thier face because I am a face blindness,and I just thought there is no difference between lots of European.Probably(Roughly) after an hour ,we had a break and drunk some coffee.At the moment,I met 3 girls speaking mandarin.One is coming from Malaysia and else are coming from Taiwan and Singapore.
After 30 minutes,we had to continue to work.It's really really really busy.All the morning,what I said most were "THANK YOU!" and "SORRY,I just made a mistake"At 12 o'clock,it was a lunch time.Becesue I had no time to prepare my lunch in the morning.So I just took two cakes and ate one of them.At this moment,I had to say,people here are so nice and wonderful.Tamai told me to sit with them and then 3 girls said the same words to me.Actually,while packing at roughly 11 o'clock,Michelle told me there were enough people in the packhouse this afternoon,so I need to go home after lunch.I didn't catch what she means.So after lunch,she told a girl,one of three asia girls to translate it to me."Oh god ,my poor english.And I have to say,Maori has lots of accents that I can't quite understand"It's so stupid decision.After heard the words,Tamai expressed his anger to her,it really shocked me.By the way,she is his wife,coming from Philippines who was shocked by me in the morning.I felt so sorry about that."Thanks god,thanks to she has no heart disease.But it was really coincident."
By the way,after induction of Mr Apple,I signed a contract with "ON CALL"position.So it is what "ON CALL" means.If the company need you,they call you and you get a job there,they don't need you,then fire you.
Oh shit,I hate "ON CALL",I would like a stable job here.
