ARPU is a measure mainly used for consumer communication, digital media and network companies, defined as total revenue divided by the number of users.

It is a measure of the income of a client phone, pager, etc., usually annually or monthly.

The changes in ARPU reflect changes in the company's ability to generate revenue and seriously affect its share price.
