一个孤独的灵魂，游荡在暗夜的窄巷（也许已半醉，空气中也许还有尿骚味）。湿冷的风吹来，仿佛传来万千幽灵的吟唱。Art Garfunkel 说他写这首歌是因为感慨人心隔膜，咫尺千里。Disturbed 显然认为不止于此，至少歌词中还说，“先知的话写在地铁和贫民窟的墙上”。
有点莫名其妙的，令我想起古诗十九首中的这首《去者日以疏》
去者日以疏，来者日以亲。
出郭门直视，但见丘与坟。
古墓犁为田，松柏摧为薪。
白杨多悲风，萧萧愁杀人。
思还故里闾，欲归道无因。
穿行在丘与坟之间，白杨悲风，萧萧杀人，那不也是万千幽灵的吟唱吗？只是这里似乎更绝望，连“视死如归”都是虚妄。毕竟“古墓犁为田，松柏摧为薪。“，只能”欲归道无因”了。
白杨多悲风，萧萧愁杀人。据说后世光李白，就有十多首诗是以“白杨悲风“起意。
人代冥灭，清音独远。这大概可以是 Disturbed 这首 MV 最后几个镜头的注脚。毕竟连上帝都靠不住，音乐可以是彼岸之舟吗？
