Hello, friends,
Would like to share some things that I did during our CCIV-19, and I stay at home almost for 2 months now, so what I did to keep my energy out and improve my learning and skills, and with my capacity to help friends around me:
1. set up a WeChat group, we invite family to read and record any "Chinese picture books" in the "LEEChEE"App, with the local NGO help, we spread it to more institutions and families, even for Orphanage organizations.
2. organized a learning course <Environmental Issue> which I pick some of the pages to a main ideas from our awareness to the environments to our daily actions to our surrounding, and each topic goes together with an English Picture books share its team which means to accompany children to protect the environment through reading.
3. I joined a Video taking groups, which the purpose is also focus on our nature, through media, how we can show to people our nature/environment/animals is looking for help and protecting.
4. I started my journey of writing, which I help me a lot to what I wanna do, this topic is about food, how what we choose eat, our food eating culture, our connection with food, it's a good reflection and we can see our friends writing lots of good article, and what I learn is writing is to soul, for your thoughts and action, finally will guide you what you wanna do, and maybe there's a project can come ture, my friends and I next one will focus on food course of learning English. that's maybe also will be fun.
5. A group of 21 teachers from different background, we shared 21 days learning courses on line free for people, which it is also a new experience.
6. My own project started from 2019, we started after New Year, but unlucky we could nt get our English picture books, and we still shared in the group chat, which help parents how to choose a picture, and how to read to kids, how to do exercises after reading picture books, which I shaped my experience also.
By the way, at the sometime, I also did some courses from on line, it seems quiet lots of things, yes, I almost tired off, but still I feel I learn a lot from these, I hope you all too, keep safe, and don't get frustrated, and be spirited, find the things you can/like to do, when things happened, we know that we are nt alone, there are many people is helping, such as Psychological counselling,NGO, etc. I know staying at home for long time is a patience thing. After all, it is a good time to reflect.
