上回写了看《老友记》学英语：第一季第一集Part1后，受到很多朋友的阅读和喜欢，因为上周比较忙，所以一直没时间写Part2，今晚总算抽出时间继续写Part2的内容了。
接下来跟上我的节奏，一起来看《老友记》，学英语！Let's go~
Chandler: Alright, so I'm back to high school. I'm standing in the middle of the cafeteria, and I realize I'm totally naked.
译文：于是我回到了高中学校。我站在食堂中间，然后发现自己全身赤裸。
解析与运用：
1.(1 )high school "高中"
(2)middle school "初中"
(3)primary school "小学"
(4)kindergarten “幼儿园”
(5)university；college "大学"
2.cafeteria "自助食堂，自助餐厅"；mess hall 更倾向于特指军队中的“食堂”，现在大学越来越现代不大合适了，我很少听人管学校食堂叫mess hall的，dinning hall感觉是最保守同时也比较保险的说法，然而倒是听过好多老外提到食堂用cafeteria的，这是更西化的说法。

译文：噢，做过那种梦。
Chandler：Then I look down, and I realize there's a phone, there
译文：然后我低下头，看到里面有一部电话，在那里。
解析与运用：
1.look down "向下看"; look down upon "看不起"。
例如：We shouldn't look down upon anyone. 我们不能看不起任何人。
2.look down的反义词是look up "向上看"。
Joey：Instead of.....?
译文：那个变成了.....？
Chandler：That's right.
译文：没错。
Joey：Never had that dream.
译文：这种梦到从未做过。
Phoebe: No.
译文：没有。
Chandler：All of a sudden, the phone starts to ring. And it turns out it's my mother. Which is very-very weird because-she never calls me!
译文：突然，那电话响起来了，结果是我妈打来的。这非常非常奇怪，因为她从来不打电话给我。
解析与运用：
1. start to do sth与start doing sth都是“开始做某事”的含义。
1） 谈及一项长期活动或开始一种习惯时，使用doing。例如：
How old were you when you first started playing the piano? 你几岁时开始弹钢琴？
2）start用进行时时，后面动词用不定式to do。例如：
I was starting to get angry。我开始生起气来。
3） 后接know, understand, realize这类动词时，常用不定式to do。例如：
I start to understand the truth。我开始明白真相。
4） 事物作主语时。例如：
The snow began to melt.雪开始融化了。
