分类名词（Category nouns）
还有一类名词需要特别注意，它们通常只是用来引出另一个特殊名词或动名词，因此也是中式英语中常见的冗词。
例1：a serious mistake in the work of planning
改1：a serious mistake in planning
（在这个结构中，work只起到了分类作用，为了告诉读者planning是一项工作，而这本来就是常识，因此完全可以省去）
例2：to ensure a relationship of close cooperation between…
改2：to ensure close cooperation between…
例3：these principles apply to all cases of relations between China and other countries
改3：these principles apply to relations between China and other countries
尽管在中文里这些分类名词可能起到一些作用，但在英文里通常是多余的。
