Recently a few yong high schoolers and I started a "Light house" non-profit organization which intends to help solve problems students in Chengdu are facing. Most of the students are going to study abroad for their undergraduate study. The problems they may have are things like, which school to chose, which training centre has qualified teachers and reasonable price, how should they prepare for those exams that have to be taken, ect.
I'm in charge of the "propaganda" thing to recruit more members and more potential customers. Before talking with them, I only plan to do it gradually, without thinking too much and too deep. But a few questions really caught me in there. What if there's no person showing any interests, what if we cannot find anyone who's bring their kids to attend our event. To be honest with you, I've no idea as you do!
They questioned about my "slow" plan and asked if we can do a better job by starting a marketing channel which can help recruit more effectively and efficiently. Oh my God, I've been doing my job "slowly" as well. Can I start a marketing channel for our own business? I guess I would have done a much better job if I had done so.
Sometimes we have made ourselves too busy to notice whether we are on the right track. We should keep reminding us from time to time.
I will have to make a plan about how are we going to do this job and discuss together then.
