夜阑人静，我终于坐下来给您写信。这是一封迟到了好久好久的来信，拖延太久，久到快要被忘记了。
为什么拖了这么久？除了Gmail邮箱总是打不开，WhatApp被停用（没错，我原来好不容易下载好，可以和您直接联系上的即时聊天软件WhatApp，又不能用了！）等原因之外，更多的是提不起劲儿去做任何事。真的有点什么都不想做的消极情绪了。
我们都知道，2020几乎是历史上最艰难的一年。先是澳洲持续多时的森林大火等原因，使得我们张罗多时的寒假澳洲游学团无法成行，接着，原本计划到你们爱达荷州这边来上课的几位学生也总是定不下来。到了我们最大的节日春节期间，更加不可思议的事情又发生了！轰动全球的可怕的新型冠状病毒从武汉突然爆发，然后因为节日人口大流动而迅速波及全国，甚至影响了全世界。这后来的局势相信您从新闻中可以得知了吧？没错，我们现在哪儿都不能去，将近一个月了，我们每天都只能待在家里，哪里都不能去，就是下楼丢一下垃圾，也得戴口罩戴手套，如临大敌。
猜到儿子学校新的学期无法按照预定的时间正常开学了，原本想带儿子过来投奔你们，送他到你们学校参加下半学期的学习的，不料形势越来越严峻，直到中美大部分飞机停航，香港不接受我们过境乘机，才发现我们走不了了。
一切像做梦一般发生得太快，以至于根本来不及反应，更来不及提前做好安排……
昨天看新闻，得知你们那个城市好像也有一个疑似病例了，请一定小心防范，保护好自己哦。祝健康平安。
期待我们大家都好好的，期待航班早日恢复，期待冬去春来 ，春暖花开。

How are you?
I finally sit down to write to you. This is a letter that has been late for a long time. It has been delayed for so long a time that it was almost forgotten.
Why it is so late? In addition to Gmail email, WhatApp is disabled (yes, Whatapp, the instant messaging software that can directly contact with you, can't be used again！) and other reasons, there's really something negative ceasing me doing anything.What a shame.
Year 2020 is almost the most difficult year in history. As for my jobs, due to the continuous forest fire and other reasons in Australia, our overseas study tours in Australian during the winter vacation were all canceled. I'm sure you can learn about this later situation from the news, right? Yes, we can't go anywhere now. It's nearly a month. We can only stay at home every day. We have to wear masks and gloves even if we throw trash downstairs.
It was estimated that the new semester of my son's school can't start on time. I wanted to bring him to join you and send him to your school for the spring semester. Unexpectedly, the situation is becoming more and more severe. Until most of the planes in China and the United States stop flying and Hong Kong doesn't accept our transit flights, I found that we can't leave. Everything happens as fast as a dream, it's too late to react and make arrangements in advance…
I learned from the news yesterday that there is a suspected case in your city. Please be careful and protect yourself. I wish you all health and safety.
