今天依旧是一份英语作业,见谅。
是一个关于图表的小作文,也算是我为数不多的小尝试,听老师说雅思还是托福呀,会出图表作文题,看着还挺难的,我就稍微写了一下。
We can learn about some disease and accidents as causes of death from this chart.
The most obvious change is the number of deaths from cancer and other noncommunicable diseases. We can see that this figure of cancer has risen from about 7 million in 2004 to about 10 million in 2020, and it is expected to rise to about 12 million by 2030. I guess one reason maybe is the popularity of mobile phones makes people's life irregular, and then makes people close to cancer. Finally, more people get cancer. Of course, it's just my guess. And we also can see the total number of deaths is increasing.
Another situation that is easy to see is that the death toll of some communicable diseases is decreasing year by year, such as acute respiratory infections, diarrhoeal diseases, malaria, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. And there will be fewer and fewer deaths from these diseases in the future. In 2004, about 14 million deaths attributed to these diease. However, deaths due to these dieases can be excepted to have fallen to around 7 million in 2030. In my opinion, it must because of the progress of medical technology.
And there is a one data I want to talk about--the number of death because of the road-traffic accidents. With the popularity of vehicles, almost every household now has a car, or even more. This is probably one of the reasons why traffic accidents happen frequently. More cars cause more accidents. I think it is right. As a student practicing cars, I think we should pay more attention to driving safety and it will really benifit us.
So, what’s your opinion?
