Today is Tuesday.
Frances's father asked her how did she know the giant wanted to get her. She asked,"Isn't that what giants do?" Father said,"Not always. Why don't you ask him by yourself?" She went back and asked, but he didn't answer. She found he was just a chair and a bathrobe. She went to bed again, but she couldn't close her eyes. So she looked at the ceiling and found a crack in it. She thought some scary animals would came out of the crack. She went to told her father who was brushing his teeth. Father asked her to brush her teeth and he went to have a look. He told her no animals could come out of such a small crack and she could asked someone to watch the crack for her. She asked teddy bear to watch. She saw the curtains were being blown by the wind. She told her father she was afraid that something was watching her behind the curtains. Father told her it was the wind which moved the curtain. And blowing curtains was the job of wind, working was his job and sleeping was her job. She went to bed again and this time she was tired and fell asleep.
