申命記(Deuteronomy)7:20 並且耶和華你 神必打發黃蜂、飛到他們中間、直到那剩下而藏躲的人、從你面前滅亡。7:20 Moreover, the LORD your God will send the hornet among them until even the survivors who hide from you have perished.

申命記(Deuteronomy)7:22 耶和華你 神必將這些國的民、從你面前漸漸趕出、你不可把他們速速滅盡、恐怕野地的獸多起來害你。7:22 The LORD your God will drive out those nations before you, little by little. You will not be allowed to eliminate them all at once, or the wild animals will multiply around you.
我們看到眼前的需要，上帝看到我們真正的需要。所以往往我們無法跟上帝和解，因為自己想像中的計畫怎麼那麼不順。「順服」往往是先承認我們根本沒有能力站在上帝的角度看到那個美麗計畫的全貌，從而因著信心跟從 神的帶領。
