Emotion management is important, because emotion as one part of body language like facial expression takes an important role in communication more than words. Good emotion management will help people to understand you better.
No matter emotion is negative or positive, we should embrace it and accept it, they are all inside you.
But I think we still need to control our emotion when we are dealing with others, especially in working environment, to show professional, to be polite, to be patient as you can, respect each other. Because nobody should bear the negative emotion especially the one who doesn't make you rude, so does your family member who care about.
When you are upset or feel angry,
- pls recognize it first, don't let it be,
- find the root cause by talking with friend who you rely on, try to fix it,
- or leave the place made you sad, hold on for a while,
- do something like exercise or relax releasing your bad emotion,
that should works for you.
