The Theory of Everything is anothor cosmology book written by Stephen W. Hawking. Infact, it is more another version of A Brief History of Time than a another book.
It's strange, aha? Why this reading review in English?
The answer is simply. Some days ago, I want to study the topic of time, so I bought some books from amazon. I started from the Brief History of Time, and when I finished it, I found that the Theory of Everything is not a new book, it is just another version of the former. The good news is the latter is bilingual.
Yes, the version I read is the english version. This is the answer.
If you have read the Brief History of Time, I recommanded you not to read the Theory of Everything. You have already read it in another format.
As the Brief History of Time talks, here is almost the same terms: big bang, expanding, black holes, time and some other things.
There are some partial theories, like Einstein's general relativity, Newton's law of universal gravitation, the quantum mechanics, etc. Partial theory is a good practice.
Here are two points I catched in the reading process:
First, we always make mistake when evaluating time. In 1928, Max Born told a group of visitors that Physics will be over in six months. What's the fact? Now, we are still on the way to finding the grand unified theory. Another example is, when you, an engineer, make a promise for the pm, haha.
Second, unified is a beautiful state. When I started to write program some years ago, I like to chase the unified algorithm. You know, it's more maintainable and more readable. There is such a typical book I have read in my college, but I forgotten its name, so sorry.
In the last of the book, Stephen Hawking noticed the string theory, this is a new term after A Brief of Time. This theory is in my another book, maybe we could talk about it later.
