I went to a summer camp in England this summer holiday. I really love it. The summer camp only lasted 2 weeks. That’s toooooooooo short!
The following is one of my emails to my friend and it’s about the camp.
We had to wake up at about 7:20, sometimes 7:40. The houseparent would knock the door and wake us up. But you could get up by yourself earlier if you wanted to have a tooth in the morning.
We had lots of interesting activities every day. In the morning, we had a English lesson, and after that was the English workshop. We’ve got a 30-minute break between them. I really like the workshop. We could choose which kind of workshop we’d like to do each week. I chose sock puppets for the first week, and broad games for the second week. The 1st and 2nd photos were our final works of the workshop. We all worked in groups.
We could chose the things we wanted to do every day for the first lesson in the afternoon. Some of the activities are art, ball games, making decorations, active English and so on. We could also swim sometimes. And then, We’ve got clubs. Clubs could only be chosen once a week. The first week I chose ‘mad science’, and I chose ‘art’ for the second. After the clubs, we could o back to chatting club if you want. We also have various activities in the evening. I love the days in the summer camp. We had to speak English to each other all the time there. I surprisely found that we can also learn English in such a fun way.
I really really miss them!
