I think this is a good idea. Firstly, traveling can broaden our horizon. During the one- year trip, she will get to know different cultures and different people. She will be more knowledgeable and may get some good friends. What is more, taking care of herself all by her own can improves the ability to live independently. She will heve to make all the plans by own. This ability is helpful for university life.
