I've read a story called Brother and Sister. The story is about a brother and a sister running away from their home because the unkindness of their stepmother. They went to a large forest, and the brother felt thirsty so they started to look for water. Unfortunately, he drank the enchanted water and became a deer.
They then lived in that forest and the sister took care of her brother. One day, a king came hunting with his attendants in this forest. The king met the siblings and fell in love with the sister. After that, the deer and the sister lived in the palace with the king blissfully.
But soon, their stepmother heard that they were being happy and wealthy. She started being jealous. Then she killed the sister and used the magic to give her biological daughter the look of the sister.
At midnight, the true sister appeared in the bedroom of the king in the shape of a ghost. The moment the king recognized her, she came back alive. They held each other and cried. The sister told him all about her evil stepmother and her daughter.
Next day, the king executed the evil stepmother and daughter. Afterwards, the brother turned back to his human form.
They all lived in the palace happily ever after.
Sometimes, the disire, for instance greed or laziness, is like the evil stepmother. They will hinder us from moving forward. But always remember faithfully that we've got the courage and ability to defeat it. When we succeed we'll become stronger.
So don't be afraid of them. What we should really fear is that we followed them blindly.
