When Alex getting better, he handover Katie a letter written by his wife, with tears in eyes, Katie suddenly find out her best friend Jo is actually Alex's wife, who has already dead, she couldn't belive it, she still remember they drink beers and share stories, all the coversation are so vivid.
In the end of the letter, Jo said, if Alex has chosen you, then I want you to believe that I have chosen you as well. Katie smiled, knowing it wasn't an illusion or a figment of her imagination, she believe what she believed.
