教学目标
学生在学习完本篇人物介绍之后,应该能够:
1. To understand important facts about Christopher Reeve.
2.从事故前、后两方面的变化梳理概括Christopher的生活经历。
3.基于所读文本内容分析主人公的精神品格。
4.运用所学文本的写作手法和语言联系真实生活,描写一位你所崇拜的“超级英雄”。
4.大观念下单元整体教学:整合本单元Writing Workshop 的概要写作 一起教学。学生按照概要写作的方法写一篇Christopher概要。

1. 围绕主题创设情境,铺垫语言。
①教师创设情境,提出问题: 关注题目the superhero behind Superman学生推测并讨论 " Who is the superhero being talked about ?"
" When we were children, everyone dreamed of being omnipotent (无所不能的超人). In your opinion what is Superman like?" 引导学生思考并说出自己的看法观点," Probably Superman is handsome, healthy , strong, humorous, brave, talented, clever ,wise,very just and always doing good…"" Superhero means a well —meaning fictional character with superhuman powers …"
② draw the students attention to the pictures. Discuss the photos:
who are they in the two pictures?
( Picture 1, Superman in the film)( Picture 2 a man who is confined to a wheelchair)
Are they the same person?
