九日齐山登高
Climbing High on the Ninth

江涵秋影雁初飞，
Autumnal scenery reflected in the river water ,wild geese were just beginning to fly south.
与客携壶上翠微。
With my friends I climbed up the green peak,wine pot about me.
尘世难逢开口笑，
Not easy to smile in hard times,
菊花须插满头归。
I must return home with plenty of chrysanthemums in my hair.
但将酩酊酬佳节，
Celebrating the Double Ninth Festival,I’d love to drink as much as possible.
不用登临恨落晖。
I needn’t climb high sighing with regret for the sunset.
古往今来只如此，
From of old ,things have been like this,
牛山何必独沾衣。
Why should we weep,jacket wet with tears like Duke Jing of Qi?

1. 旧历九月九日重阳节，旧俗登高饮菊花酒。齐山：今安徽池州的齐山
2. 翠微：青绿色的山
3. 酩酊（mǐngdǐng）：大醉
4. 登临：登山临水或登高临下。
5. 牛山：山名，在今山东省淄博市，春秋时齐景公泣牛山，即其地

【译文】
江水倒映秋影大雁刚刚南飞，
约朋友携酒壶登上青山翠微。
尘世烦扰难得开口一笑，
应将头上插满菊花乘兴而归。
纵情畅饮欢度重阳佳节，
登高临水不要叹恨落日余晖。
尘世艰难自古皆如此，
何必像齐景公对着牛山流泪。
