Rose:So Rachel,what're you,uh...what're you up to tonight?
瑞秋，你今晚打算做什么？
What are you up to ?的意思是what are you doing?你在干什么？
Rachel:Well,I was kinda supposed to be headed for Aruba on my honeymon,so nothing!
这个嘛，我本来应该在阿鲁巴岛度蜜月，所以，没事做。
Be supposed to表示“理应做某事”，强调一种客观性。比如：You are supposed to listen to your boss.你理应听从你的老板。was supposed to在句中表示我本应该做某事（其实没有做）。比如：I was supposed to go on a trip to Beijing,but my boss strongly askd me to stay,I had to give up my trip.我本应该去北京旅行的，但是既然我的老板强烈要求我留下，我就放弃了我的旅行。
head for表示去某地,朝什么方向走去，出发去某地。比如：He turned around and headed for workshop.他转身，走向车间。
Rose:Anyway,if you don't feel like being alone tonight.不管怎样，如果你不想独处的话。
feel like表示“想做某事;感觉....;”，比如：She didn't feel like going out any more.她再也不想出去了。I don't feel like having dinner now.我现在不想吃晚餐。I feel like I'm knocking my head against the wall.我感觉我在白费力气。关于feel like用作“感觉....”的时候，老友记里有这样一个例子。
Rose:I just feel like someone reached down my throat.
我感觉有人把手伸进了我的喉咙。
这里的feel like意思就是感觉.....
或者还有。。
Joey:If you feel like you have to make a western omelet or something..
如果你想做煎蛋卷之类的东西。
Rachel:But I think I'm just gonna hang out here tonight.
不过我今晚想待在这里。
hang out表示闲逛，逗留，和朋友出去玩，晒衣服。
比如：I just want to hang out with my friends.我只是想和我朋友出去玩。where does he hang out these days?他这几天都在哪里？
Rose:I cannot feel my legs.我的腿麻了。
not feel my leg表示感觉不到我的腿了，就是我的腿麻了。腿麻了还可以说：My leg has gone to sleep或者My leg has fallen asleep.字面翻译我的腿睡觉了，是不是很形象？
Chandler:Oh,my god-you got screwed.天哪，你被坑了。
someone got screwed意思是某人被坑了。比如：We got screwed when we bought this house.我们买房子的时候被坑了。screw up也是常用短语，意思有“把事情搞砸了；鼓舞，振作”。比如：Don't screw up my project.不要搞砸我的项目。I screwed up my nerve/courage for one more try.我鼓起勇气又试了一遍。
